Building on the concept that silk, intended for dancing, becomes alive and glowing when dyed in an ombre pattern, of blending colors dark to light, are the silk circle skirts created exclusively by A'Kai Silks. When a dancer starts spinning, the skirt starts to glow with color as she swirls and ripples of silk surround her. Add a pair of matching half circle silk veils and the dancer appears as a silk flower slowly opening like a flower at sunrise.

The bellydance silk circle skirts are made using an 8 to 10 mm luxurious China silk. An excellent grade of silk was chosen for the skirts for optimum color, float, and durability.

Designed in a split panel style, the dancer may choose to wear the skirts with the side splits open, over a pair of harem pants, or closed. The silk skirts may be layered with other skirts so that when the dancer spins, many colors are visible. Or they may be worn alone. Please keep in mind since each dancer has a unique shape and measurement, the skirt may need to be altered for a perfect fit.

The silk circle skirts are available in a garden of color possibilities. Each one is hand dyed, therefore no two skirts will be exactly alike. Dancers may select color patterns that are unique to their own personalities and create a one of a kind bellydance costume.
